What is the sterilization process?

Gold Society is a single use piercing studio. This means everything that touches your body during your appointment from needles, to tools, has been pre sterilized and will only be used on you and only, then disposed of. The jewelry you select will also be sterilized through a medical grade autoclave to ensure sterility. Other piercing shops usually re-sterilize their tools and jewelry between clients which if not properly done can lead to exposure of blood borne pathogens.

Do you pierce kids?

Piercing services is offered to ages 10 and up. Ages 10-14: First and second lobe piercings only. Ages 15-17: Ears, nose & face only (No surface piercings or anchors). Ages 18+ Full services that are being offered at time of booking. Children under 18 will need to be accompanied by parent or legal guardian, with school id, birth certificate & valid id/ driver license. No exceptions!

Are walk ins allowed?

We operate on an appointment based system. Walk ins are welcome but not recommended or guaranteed by any means. Booking online is the best option to check availability and secure an appointment.

Can I bring my own jewelry?

Due to allergy/sterility concerns, all piercing and jewelry change services are limited to jewelry that is sold at Gold Society only.

Can I see the jewelry selection prior to my appointment?

Unfortunately due to high turn around of our pieces, this is not a service we currently provide. We carry a very wide selection of implant grade titanium and 14k yellow and white gold in price points that suit everyone from $50 per piece and up!

Can I bring friends/family to my appointment?

Friends and family are welcome, but due to limited space please keep guests that aren’t getting services to a +1

Are kids allowed at my appointment?

Kids are more then welcome, as long as they are able to remain seated and not cause any distractions to the piercer.

Can I swim after getting a fresh piercing?

We recommend that you wait at least 8 weeks before submerging your piercing in the water for any extended period of time. Although salt water can be beneficial for your piercing, the bacteria found in bodies of water, swimming pools and hot tubs are not.

What is an ear curation/ ear styling and am I a good candidate?

Can I return my jewelry?

Due to sterility purposes, we cannot accept returns on jewelry.

What if I need to cancel my appointment? Is there a cancellation policy?

Sometime things come up, and that’s totally understandable! Just make sure to cancel 24 hours before your appointment or there is a cancellation fee that will apply. While booking you will have to acknowledge and read over the cancellation policy before proceeding with securing your appointment slot.

What if im not happy with how my piercings turn out?
